We appreciate there are other centres which also offer good courses. Here are what we consider to be our key features and we believe that no other centre in Prague offers all of these:

1. We are the sole provider of the Trinity CertTESOL in the Czech Republic. This is internationally recognised by the British Council because every course is externally moderated to ensure both the standard of the course offered is maintained. This external moderation process means that the course falls within the UK qualifications framework, which in turn means that it can be used to gain semester credits at universities around the world (including the US).
2. You will benefit from our prestige and experience. We have been running Trinity CertTESOL courses for 10 years. Our staff are all qualified to DELTA/Trinity Diploma level. We also offer Trinity Diploma in TESOL courses for teachers who wish to develop a career in TEFL.

4. We offer value for money accommodation. Our student flats are competitively priced and in central locations so you do not lose valuable time on this intensive course travelling between the school and home. Our student flats are in the centre within 15 minutes walk from the school.
5. Our courses are competitively priced. Personal recommendation is our main source of advertising and this helps us to keep costs down. Even though our course is externally moderated and includes a moderation fee, we have still kept the cost lower than most others in the city.
6. We place a lot of importance on providing excellent learning environments. This means you get all the human and technical support you need, including dedicated and motivated staff, computers and Internet access and a substantial library of resource books. The maximum size for teaching groups is 5 trainees to 1 tutor.
7. Our School, like the accommodation, is centrally located in a beautiful old building, enhancing the experience of being in the city. Prague is a beautiful city, but within the confines of an intensive course, it is difficult to really get the benefit of this if you are not located in or near the centre. Although the building is old, the school has wi-fi and modern equipment.
8. Our school is also a language school, which offers English language courses in the centre itself and to local businesses. This creates a dynamic atmosphere where course participants meet working teachers and a range of language learners. We organise social events to promote this interchange. It also means that we are able to employ some graduates from our TEFL courses.
9. Unlike other schools in Prague, we offer the course over 4 1/2 weeks. This extra time allows extra time to prepare assignments and plan classes to the best of your ability which graduate feedback shows is much appreciated. In addition, you have time to settle in before the course and some days to relax after the course in the accommodation and more time to enjoy the beautiful city of Prague.
10. Pub night! This has become an institution and not just because of the beer serevd up by a aster bartender. It also serves as a fantastic professional and social network. Trainers, graduates, trainees and Czech students get together each Thursday. Invaluable for job contacts, making friends and meeting students outside of the classroom situation, it also leads to regular trips (see our Noticeboard for those planned in the near future) being organised and the newly posted website konvikt.blog.cz. It has to be good when graduates from other courses come along.
